Woolwich Pier Hotel Sports Bar Gets a Facelift

This heritage listed building has recently received some much needed attention by the Coco Republic NSW Interior Design team to revive and refurbish  ‘The Point’ Sports Bar in the Woolwich Pier Hotel.

The project brief was directed towards creating an environment that returned much of the historical, traditional details  that come hand in hand with a heritage listed building. After a previous refurbishment in 2000 such details were concealed and removed altogether, and in turn loosing much of the building’s character. Handsome midnight blue leather booth seating, luxurious casual armchairs and bar stools were the key ingredient here, creating more of a sophisticated gentleman’s bar.

Following its facelift, it has brought this local watering hole back to life and its local residents are welcomed back, now offering its patrons a casual space to enjoy a social drink, punt on the horses or enjoy a bar snack or two.
