Saturday in Design, Melbourne 2012

Australia’s most dynamic trade exhibition returned to Melbourne August 17+18 2012.

This time around, Coco Republic celebrated Saturday In Design with a look at the new international releases from Coco Republic and Lauren Ralph Lauren. Hundreds of Saturday In Design registered guests joined Coco Republic first thing on Saturday morning for a glass of Veuve Clicquot and breakfast at the Coco Republic Lounge Bar opened especially for Saturday in Design. Guests relaxed among the new pieces and spring styled settings, with a glass of champagne in hand.

Meanwhile, two doors down, the Oly concept store celebrated the new Oly Spring Collection releases. The Oly pop-up Pizza Bar on the Saturday afternoon was a hit, with crowds staying for hours in store exploring the new collection and The Project installation by Oly in collaboration with Hecker Guthrie. As part of the installation, designers, architects and students alike were invited to sketch an interior to match their favourite Oly dining chair.
